Descripción del trabajo

Ensure and guarantee the visibility and transparency of costs and financial indicators of the operations in the Honduran plant. As well as ensuring, the correct implementation and reliability of established corporate internal controls to measure financial results to allow the areas to optimize their results and achieve the EBITA profitability objectives.

Responsibilities:

1.    Ensure the correct reporting of financial information from Honduras with the team from Finance in Mexico, Chicago and our Global Headquarters in Germany.

2.    Develop controls and implement financial procedures to obtain data and build reports.

3.    Give visibility of actual performance and areas of improvement to guide the decision-making at management/directorate levels.

4.    Promote the achievement of financial and EBITDA objectives by delivering on time 100% of financial reports.

5.    Deliver monthly reports, forecasts, and annual budget captured in BnF in a timely manner. (Internal clients of Mexico & Corp. Chicago).

6.    Ensure the correct standardization and/or generation of operational and financial management indicators, monthly executive reports or on-demand monthly forecast and annual business budgets at the corporate level. Also reports of actual expenses of each plant vs the budget.

7.    Generate budgetary controls and explain variations generated in each accounting period.

8.    Recording and reporting of capital investments and projects.

9.    Coordinate with corporate accounting the assets at the end of their execution.

10. Ensure the reliability of the information generated in the area by: Supervising the information generated by direct collaborators.

11. Validating the reasonableness of the records in accordance with accounting standards

12. Explaining the variations generated in each accounting period.

13. Communicate to corporate planning and plant management the compliance with established indicators, deficiencies of deviations in costs, process that puts reliability of information at risk, financial results of the plant, needs of the area and reach KPI objectives.

 Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 5 – 7 years of related experience

·      Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

·      GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred

·      Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Experience:

·      2 years in interpretation and analysis of financial results

·      1 years in accounting and auditing,

·      2 years managing personnel
