Job Title: Full-Time Full Stack Developer for the Internal Virtual Latinos Team (the job will start Part-Time and go to Full-Time after a maximum training period of 12 weeks)

Pay Rate:

Initial Part-Time Rate (for the first 12 weeks or less): $1,040-$1,160 per month

Full-Time Rate (post-training): $2,080-$2,320 per month

*The monthly salary range posted is stipulated as an average monthly income. However, all jobs at Virtual Latinos are hourly-based, and payments are calculated on the number of hours a person works daily. We pay our Virtual Professionals every 2 weeks through third-party platforms. The hourly rate range of the position is $13-$14.50 per hour, depending on experience. Once a rate has been offered to you, it is non-negotiable.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch break. The entire shift should fall between 7 am- 5 pm PST, preferred.

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications from the front end to the back end. You will work closely with our product team to ensure that our applications are scalable, and user-friendly.

Job Tasks:

• Developing and maintaining web applications from the front end to the back-end
• Working closely with the product team to ensure applications are scalable, user-friendly
• Collaborating with a team of developers to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong technical skills in front-end and back-end development
• Strong experience with Javascript+Typescript
• Serverless functions experience
• Strong understanding of software development principles
• Experience with WordPress and developing plug-ins or extending code base
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git, Github, or Bitbucket
• Experience with business software development (Internal business tools or B2B software)

Preferred Technical Skills (not required):

• Experience with GraphQL, SvelteKit, and PostgreSQL

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
• Passion for learning new technologies and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
