Contract Duration: Full Time
Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Weekends off
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on-call rotation on Weekends
Work Type and Location: Onsite in Tegucigalpa
Expected Start Date: July 2023

We’re currently searching for passionate candidates with up-to-date knowledge and expertise for the role of Information Technology support. Your main focus will be to provide IT-related support for PartnerHero associates in their daily tasks, maintain IT-related databases, and troubleshoot production-oriented problems that may arise.
We constantly interact with people, whether in-person or remotely, to support and troubleshoot any situation that may be impacting their ability to perform their tasks. Efficient response, good communication skills, and willingness to assist are essential aspects of the role.
As an IT Support Specialist for our IT department, your main focus will be to maintain operational systems status, which includes internet/network, hardware, software, and equipment databases. You will also be responsible for responding to support requests in person or via email and/or chat.
You’ll Be…

  • Help Desk support
    • Monitoring PartnerHero’s IT help center and relevant Slack channels and responding to support requests
    • Performing hands-on and remote desktop and system support for a global workforce
    • Identifying common trends and underlying problems
    • Performing admin tasks within various cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
    • Developing and maintaining process and troubleshooting documentation in the PartnerHero IT knowledge base
  • Equipment management
    • Preparing and assigning equipment to new hires
    • Reviewing returned equipment and update
    • Working with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to identify equipment needs
    • Patching and providing maintenance to OS/Application
  • IT inventory management
    • Tracking and updating IT assets within PartnerHero’s asset management platform
    • Updating equipment assignments/status
  • Quality
    • Educating associates and presenting information on IT policies
    • Updating self-help documents so associates can solve minor issues on their own
    • Leading basic troubleshooting workshops
    • Participating in routine security audits in collaboration with PartnerHero’s information security program
    • Participating in incident response as needed
  • Network
    • Troubleshooting and performing Network maintenance
    • Ensuring maximum uptime
    • Scheduling/manually deploying firmware updates while minimizing downtime

What You Bring To The Table

  • Strong English skills both Written and Spoken
  • 1-2 years of experience in information technology or technical support
  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Extensive familiarity with Windows & MacOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Monday.com, and others
  • Understanding of network fundamentals
  • Proactive and self-manageable

  • Good eye for process improvement
