About The Role

As a leader of our growing IT operations program, you’ll be in a position to take PartnerHero to the next level as our company continues to expand to new locations around the world. From guiding our IT associates located in various regions, to conceptualizing an operational strategy that fits our cloud-centric, agile business model. We’re looking for an experienced leader who is able to recognize and solve complex challenges with the right technology, tools, and processes.

You’ll Be…

  • IT Operations Program Leadership
    • Strengthening and continuing to build, evolve and manage an existing agile IT operations program
    • Working closely with PartnerHero’s VP of Information Systems and Security and senior management team to strategize IT program development within the business as a whole
    • Helping to solve technology operations challenges across multiple departments by championing IT awareness and solutions
  • Internal Service Desk Program Management
    • Further developing and maintaining a global, 24/7 support program that’s always on and able to support our teams around the globe
    • Evolving and maintaining a core set of tools and processes that will enable support from any location, including offices and remote/work-from-home
    • Overseeing the internal Quality program
  • IT Team Management
    • Providing training, career development guidance, and solid leadership to a team of IT support associates
    • Successfully delegating ownership of key IT operational program elements to IT associates, including endpoint management, cloud management, incident response, access management, and security
    • Identifying future hiring needs in key technical and program management areas within IT to position the department for growth
    • Supervising a global team of IT professionals including intermediate managers
  • Operations Technology Research
    • Keeping up to date on emerging tools, applications, and solutions that will increase the productivity of IT associates and enhance the program
    • Identifying potential improvements to technology workflows at the company and driving change
    • Interfacing with engineering and integration teams to increase automation between PartnerHero tools and platforms
  • Security Practices Implementation
    • Integrating the security and privacy culture and policies at PartnerHero into all aspects of the IT operations program
    • Working alongside PartnerHero’s information security team to ensure we’re meeting security and privacy compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and others
  • Change Management and Business Continuity Planning
    • Identifying key areas within operations that will benefit from enhanced change management approaches, and rolling them out (app management, networking, patching, etc.)
    • Identifying key risks surrounding business continuity and working jointly with our information security department to develop a program to reduce those risks (including a comprehensive communications plan)

What You Bring To The Table

  • 8+ years of experience building and running multi-site IT operations as a proven leader
  • A firm grasp of IT program methodology, infrastructure, operations, and helpdesk best practices, with a focus on cloud platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Extensive working knowledge of computer hardware/software support and remote endpoint management, security implementation, network and systems administration, and IT asset management
  • Significant experience in IT project identification, planning, execution, and completion.
  • Successful track record in establishing IT operational change management processes and business continuity planning
  • Experience establishing and maintaining a multi-region IT hardware procurement strategy
  • Ability to manage, guide and inspire a globally-distributed team of IT professionals across multiple time zones worldwide
  • Willingness to partner with information security teams to establish security controls and uphold company policies across IT operations
