About Us

Good Drinks Australia is one of the country’s largest independent brewers. Home to several leading beer and drink brands, the Good Drinks family includes Gage Roads Brew Co, Matso’s Broome Brewery, Atomic Beer Project, Alby, Hello Sunshine and San Miguel.

It all started in 2005 with Gage Roads, which has grown to become one of Australia’s largest craft brewers. Named after the strip of ocean separating the port city of Fremantle and Rottnest Island off WA’s coast, we saw a lot of ourselves in this spot. So, we decided to name our brewery after it. It’s a home to seagulls and sharks; surfers and swimmers; ships and sailors. A place where you can relax, explore, escape, or seek out adventure.

In 2018, we purchased Matso’s Broome Brewery and launched our West Australian contemporary lager brand Alby. About The Role

This role will help our expanding brewing team at our Palmyra facility – Gage Roads’ home base and our biggest production facility. Due to our increasing volumes and expansion to Gage Roads Freo (Our new Fremantle Brew Pub) we need someone with a passion for brewing to help bolster the team back at Palmyra. This is an entry level role where you will learn the fine details of brewing and packaging from start to finish from our experienced team. The position requires a practical hands-on approach with a large physical component and involves shift and weekend work.

As a trainee, your on the job training will include but is not limited to:

• Packaging – cans, bottles and kegs
• Brewing, filtration and cider production
• Cellar and fermentation management; including tank sampling and analysis
• Tank, equipment and general plant cleaning
• Yeast handling
• Raw material and chemical handling
• Stock management
• Record keeping
• Forklift operation

• Forklift ticket
